Agar Alphabet

I carved the alphabet and the phrase "Progress Through Process" into agar plates that grew live bacteria. I used samples from everyday places: my breath and the studio, to show how unseen environments shape creative work.

Each letter required control and patience as the bacteria grew in unpredictable ways. When growth patterns failed, I changed the conditions and tried again.

The results came out uneven, and I kept them that way. The work moved forward through small adjustments, not through any clean finish.
